RIVERSIDE, CA (Nov. 22, 2019) – The City of Desert Hot Springs voted at their November 5th Council meeting to retain Riverside-based law firm of Stream Kim Hicks Wrage & Alfaro to provide full legal services to the City. Named City Attorney Jennifer Mizrahi joins the law firm and will continue to serve as City Attorney. The City’s previous law firm’s contract was terminated.
Stream Kim has done prior work for the City. This new move expands that relationship and deepens the bench of legal talent at the City’s disposal. Ms. Mizrahi previously served as Assistant City Attorney for the cities of Cathedral City and Rancho Mirage, Deputy City Attorney for the City of Victorville, and Deputy General Counsel for the Southern California Logistics Airport Authority, Glendale Oversight Board, the Victorville Water District, and the Victor Valley Economic Development Authority. Attorney Tuan-Anh Vu also joined the Stream Kim roster, contributing his municipal law experience for the benefit of Desert Hot Springs and other municipal clients.
Ted Stream is a Shareholder and Founding Partner of the firm who will be representing Desert Hot Springs in litigation matters.
“Stream Kim is excited about this new venture, and the building of our practice to include full municipal law services. We anticipate that the City of Desert Hot Springs will benefit from having a true full service firm – with Jennifer Mizrahi as an experienced municipal law attorney, and myself as the lead litigator. We also know that our current and future clients will benefit from the broad knowledge base the new attorneys will bring to the firm,” said Mr. Stream.
Stream Kim attorneys have more than 150 years of combined experience representing large organizations in a variety of arenas including employment law, land use, construction, real estate, and intellectual property. This depth of experience will serve Desert Hot Springs well while delivering fresh perspectives on the modern legal landscape facing municipalities today.
